*Dental Assistant II/Float 1 Day
Toronto, ONOur client is looking for an Full-time Dental Assistant Level II for Bloor Bathurs & Spadina/Queen location.
POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS:
LOCATION: Spadina/Queen
HOURS: Need to go to 2 locations:
Mon 9-4 @ Bloor/Bathurst (Floater)
Tues & Weds 9-5 Spadina/Queen
Thurs 8-4 Bloor/Bathurst
Fri 9-4 Bloor/Bathurst
Sat 8-2 Spadina/Queen (optional 1 month)

COMPENSATION:
- $TBD depending on experience and performance
DENTAL ASSISTANT JOB OVERVIEW:
- Assisting dentist during dental procedures that features handing instruments and other materials
- Assist with restorations, crowns, bridges, extractions, fillings, root canals, implants, invisalign etc.
- Sterilizing instruments
- Taking x-rays of patients' teeth and exposing dental diagnostic x-rays
- Using suction and swabs to keep patients' mouths clear and dry during procedures
- Taking preliminary impressions of teeth for study models
- Questioning patients about their medical history and recording the information for dentist's reference
- Advising patients on dental care, oral hygiene and plaque control programs
- Making patients of all ages feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
