Our client, a friendly dental office, seeks a Level I or II Dental Assistant.  The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic team player who is dedicated to patient care.  

POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Experienced Level I or II Dental Assistant with 3-5yrs Canadian experience
• Excellent communication skills

 LOCATION:

• Bay/Bloor

HOURS: Open 6 days a week (open to DA 5 days as there is a part-time DA as well)

• Mon, Tues, Thurs (10:30-7)
• Wed (8-4)
• Fri, Sat (9-4)

 
 COMPENSATION:

•  $25-$28 per hour depending on experience and performance

JOB OVERVIEW:

• Assisting dentist during dental procedures, restorations etc in a General practice
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up trays
• Preparing dental materials and cements
• Pouring and trimming cast models
• Digital x-rays
• Providing patients with post operative instructions
• Booking appointments, dealing with insurance companies, recall etc using Abeldent software
• Making patients of all ages feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
