*Dental Assistant Level II
Scarborough, ONOur client in Scarborough is looking for and experienced Level II Dental Assistant full-time. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic team player who is dedicated to patient care.

POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Experienced, strong and dependable Level II Dental Assistant
- Must be HARP Certified
- Must have minimum of 5+ year of experience
- Tracker experience preferred
HOURS: hours can be negotiable
- Tues 8:45-8
- Wed 9-5:30
- Thurs 9-8
- Fri 8:45-5:30
- Sat 7:45-3:15
- $29-$33+depending on experience and performance

Assisting dentist during dental procedures that features handing instruments and other materials

Sterilizing instruments
- Assisting dentist with restoration, crowns, bridges, (excluding ortho), implants, endo, perio surgery, root canals etc

Taking x-rays of patients' teeth and exposing dental diagnostic x-rays

Using suction and swabs to keep patients' mouths clear and dry during procedures

Taking preliminary impressions of teeth for study models

Applying pit and fissure sealants and topical anesthetics

Questioning patients about their medical history and recording the information for dentist's reference

Advising patients on dental care, oral hygiene and plaque control programs

Making patients of all ages feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
