Our client is seeking a Level II Dental Assistant 3 or 4 days-your choice in the Corktown area.

POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Experienced Level II Dental Assistant
• Prefer to have NDAEB certificate but Level II is fine
• Itero scanning experience
• Have good verbal communication and written skills

LOCATION: Front St/Cherry St (Green P Parking)

HOURS:

• Monday 10-6
• Wed 10-5 or 7 (your choice or take day off) Floater
• Thurs 10-7
• Friday 9-5

COMPENSATION:  ​$27-$29 depending on experience and performance

JOB OVERVIEW:

• Assisting dentist during dental procedures that features handing instruments and other materials
• Sterilizing instruments
• Assisting dentist with crowns, bridges, veneers, root canals, fillings, extractions and mouth guards 
• Placement and removal of rubber dams
• Taking digital x-rays and using Itero scanner
• Using suction and swabs to keep patients' mouths clear and dry during procedures
• Taking preliminary impressions of teeth for study models
• Applying pit and fissure sealants and topical anesthetics
• Questioning patients about their medical history and recording the information for dentist's reference
• Paperless office
• Advising patients on dental care, oral hygiene and plaque control programs
• Making patients of all ages feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
