Our client is a Periodontal Office at Leslie/Sheppard is looking for and a Certified Dental Assistant with experience for a busy practice.

Our client is a Periodontal Office at Leslie/Sheppard is looking for and a Certified Dental Assistant with experience for a busy practice.
POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have CDA and have NDAEB certificate
- Must have minimum of 2+ year of experience
- Good command of the english language both verbally and in writing
- Good multi-tasker
LOCATION: Leslie/Sheppard (Free Parking)
HOURS: Monday to Thurs 8-5 or 9-6/7 & Fri 8-2
COMPENSATION:
- $30-$34.00 To be determined depending on experience and performance
- Assisting dentist during dental procedures that features handing instruments and other materials
- Assisting dentist with Perio procedures, gum grafting, crown lengthening, bone grafting, implants etc
- Sterilizing instruments
- Taking x-rays of patients' teeth and exposing dental diagnostic x-rays
- Using suction and swabs to keep patients' mouths clear and dry during procedures
- Taking preliminary impressions of teeth for study models
- Questioning patients about their medical history and recording the information for dentist's reference
- Advising patients on dental care, oral hygiene and plaque control programs
- Making patients of all ages feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
