*Dental Hygienist (Mat Leave)

Our client, a dental office in Mississauga is seeking a Dental Hygienist to cover a Maternity Leave ending May 2027. New grads welcome!

POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)
LOCATION: Mississauga (Mavis/Eglinton - Free Parking)

HOURS:
  • Tues (10-6) 1 a month
  • Wed (10-6) every week - most crucial day
  • Thurs (10-6) 2 a month
  • Sat (8-4) 3 a month
  • Sunday (9-4) 1 a month

COMPENSATION:
  • $48- $55 ​depending on experience and performance
​JOB OVERVIEW:
  • ​New patient assessment-comprehensive exams
  • Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments
  • Polishing and fluoride treatments
  • Dental impressions and bleaching trays
  • Removal of stains, scaling and root-planning
  • Taking impressions of teeth for study models
  • Digital radiography
  • Charting patients, updating medical history
  • Oral hygiene instructions to patients
  • Preparation of patients for various dental procedures
