Our client is looking for a full-time experienced Dental Assistant Level II in Etobicoke emergency clinic setting.

Busy practice needs Certified Level II that can assist with all forms of dentistry and a lot of trama. 

Position/Job requirement

• Must have Level II Diploma, have NDAEB certificate
• 5 years' experience 
• Ideally someone to take Lead role as a DA 
• Prefer someone that has some Reception experience too
• Strong command of the English language both spoken and written
• Up to date with CPR certification 

Job Overview

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• Assisting dentist during dental procedures that features handing instruments and other materials
• Assisting dentist with extractions, fillings, root canals etc
• Placement and removal of rubber dams
• Taking x-rays of patients' teeth and exposing dental diagnostic x-rays
• Using suction and swabs to keep patients' mouths clear and dry during procedures
• Taking preliminary impressions of teeth for study models
• Applying pit and fissure sealants and topical anesthetics
• Questioning patients about their medical history and recording the information for dentist's reference
• Making patients of all ages feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment

 
Hours:  Practice is Open every day from 6pm - 11pm, 7 days a week. Open from 11am-11pm on Wed/Thurs/Sat/Sun

• Need to work days and 1 night, 1 or 2 Sundays

Location: Etobicoke, Free Parking

Compensation:

• $35-40+ TBD ​depending on experience and performance .
