Our client is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant level 2 on Yonge/Summerhill.

POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Dental Assistant Level II must have NDAEB License
• Must have minimum of 2 year of experience

 

LOCATION: Don Valley Park & Eglinton Ave E (optional Paid parking)

HOURS:   Mon to Wed - 10am to 7pm at Summerhill
                 Thurs - 10am to 7pm at Don Mills
                 Fri - 10am to 7pm at Summerhill

COMPENSATION:

• $TBD ​depending on experience and performance

DENTAL ASSISTANT JOB OVERVIEW:

• Once a week inventory /orders must be done
• Assisting dentist during dental procedures that features handing instruments and other materials
• Sterilizing instruments
• Assisting dentist with oral surgery procedures
• Taking x-rays of patients' teeth and exposing dental diagnostic x-rays
• Using suction and swabs to keep patients' mouths clear and dry during procedures
• Taking preliminary impressions of teeth for study models
• Questioning patients about their medical history and recording the information for dentist's reference
• Advising patients on dental care, oral hygiene and plaque control programs
• Making patients of all ages feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
