Our client, a dental office at King & John in downtown Toronto seeks an experienced Dental Hygienist. 

POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)

LOCATION: King/John (Across the street from Metro Hall-Pay Parking) Also close to the St. Andrews subway station


HOURS: 

• Monday (8:30-5)
• Tuesday (8:30-5)
• Thursday (8:30-5)
• Friday (9:30-5)

COMPENSATION:

• Competitive TBD ​depending on experience and performance

​JOB OVERVIEW:

• Choice of Cavitron or Handscaling
• ​New patient assessment-comprehensive exams
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments
• Polishing and fluoride treatments
• Dental impressions and bleaching trays
• Removal of stains, scaling and root-planning
• Taking impressions of teeth for study models
• Digital radiography
• Charting patients, updating medical history
• Oral hygiene instructions to patients
• Preparation of patients for various dental procedures
