Our client, located at Lakeshore/Brookers Line is seeking full-time experienced Dental Receptionist.
POSITION:
MUST have 2-5 yrs experienced as Dental Receptionist
Excellent English & Communication Skills, Computer Savvy, must understand the importance of Recall Management
SOFTWARE:
OPUS (must have dental software experience)
LOCATION: Etobicoke - Lakeshore/Parklawn
HOURS:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (9-5)
Friday (9-1)
e/o Saturday (9-1)
COMPENSATION:
$25.00-$28.00+ per hour depending on experience and performance
JOB OVERVIEW:
Greet patients in a warm and welcoming manner
Make a great first impression ideally creating long term loyal patient relationships
Schedule/confirm patient appointments by telephone and in person
Send confirmation of appointments via email and telephone and make follow-up calls/emails
Provide patients with information regarding the dental office and direct calls appropriately
Must be good with emails as most payments are done by etransfer or direct payments
Present fees, give estimates for treatment, and make financial arrangements with the patient
Prepare and submit all pre-determinations from treatment plans
Maintain updated DDS treatment plans and follow up (communicate treatments, fees, insurance inquires/estimates, financial arrangements)
Schedule consults and follow up on unscheduled treatment
Manage lab cases
Maintain accurate computer data pertaining to treatment and patient compliance
Maintain accurate predetermination data
Verify procedures completed, collect payments, and submit insurance claims electronically
Receive and distribute mail, enter and scan payments and referral documents
Accurately maintain charts and patient records
Make sure waiting room and reception area is clean and tidy
Ensure and maintain the practice is running smoothly and efficiently
Manager must have strong leadership and analytical skills
Ability to resolve conflicts rapidly and in a calm manner
Create and explain patient estimates, treatment plans, and assist with financial arrangements
Responsible for;
Bookings
Treatment Coordination
Financials
Accounts receivable and payable
Maintain and manage office supplies/inventory
Good customer service, communication and patient empathy
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Good communicator, can be empathetic
Highly organized quick learner with analytical thinking that allows for effective team work
Must have excellent command of the English language (both oral and written)
Must be able to multi-task, be self-motivated and be able to work independently
