*Dental Assistant Level II (Tues-2/month, Wed, Thurs, Fri)
Toronto, ONOur client is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant Level II for their practice at Yonge/Lawrence. Easy going dentist to work with:)!
POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS:
POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Dental Assistant Level II (received NDAEB)
- Must have 2-4 years of experience
- Must have good computer skills - Abeldent software - tech savvy
- Itero scanner experience an asset
- Must be HARP certified
- Front desk experience would be helpful
LOCATION: Yonge/Lawrence
HOURS:
- Team meeting every Tues (10-12) One in the office & one Virtual
- Tues 2x month (8-5)
- Weds, Thurs, Fri (8-5)
COMPENSATION:
- $28-30 depending on experience and performance
DENTAL ASSISTANT JOB OVERVIEW:
- Assisting dentist during dental procedures - crown, bridges,TMJ, sleep apnea, Invisalign etc
- Sterilizing instruments
- Taking digital x-rays of patients' teeth and exposing dental diagnostic x-rays
- Using suction and swabs to keep patients' mouths clear and dry during procedures
- Taking preliminary impressions of teeth for study models
- Questioning patients about their medical history and recording the information for dentist's reference
- Advising patients on dental care, oral hygiene and plaque control programs
- Can be trained on Abeldent
